• Our Mission...

The Mid-Atlantic Goat Association is dedicated to fostering excellence, education, and camaraderie within the livestock and agricultural community. Our mission is to provide a platform for competitors to showcase their skills and achievements in a fair, inclusive, and family-friendly environment. We strive to promote the values of hard work, sportsmanship, and ethical animal care while celebrating the rich agricultural heritage of the Mid-Atlantic region. Through engaging events and collaborative partnerships, we aim to inspire future generations to excel in livestock management and agricultural pursuits.

2022 Show Series

2022 marked the launch of our show series and the beginning of something special.
With six inaugural shows, our founding year was built on a simple but powerful mission: to create a fun, fair, and inclusive environment for exhibitors of all ages and experience levels. What started as an idea quickly became a community—one grounded in integrity, sportsmanship, and a shared love for the industry. The 2022 season set the standard for the culture and values that continue to guide our series today.

2023 Show Series

In 2023, the momentum continued.
Building on the foundation laid in our inaugural year, the series expanded to nine shows and experienced meaningful growth in participation across the region. With more exhibitors, more competition, and stronger community engagement, 2023 proved that the mission resonated. The increased turnout reinforced our commitment to delivering well-run events that remain fun, fair, and inclusive while continuing to raise the bar for the series.

2024 Show Series

2024 was a standout year for the series.
With eight shows on the calendar, we began to see significant growth in junior participation, marking an important milestone in the program’s development. The increase in youth exhibitors reinforced our commitment to building opportunities for the next generation while maintaining the fun, fair, and welcoming atmosphere that defines our events.

2025 Show Series

2025 was our breakout year—and our largest to date.
We put the pedal down by hosting the first-ever Mid-Atlantic Junior Nationals, drawing 180 individual animal entries from youth exhibitors. Across eight shows, the series grew to over 250 total members, including more than 150 junior members, with junior shows consistently averaging over 100 head. The scale, energy, and level of competition in 2025 marked a defining moment and firmly established the series as a premier youth-focused program in the region.
